PAL Exclusive Dreamcast Games

During the Dreamcast's roughly 2 year life in Europe, it managed to gather a fairly small set of European exclusive titles, 18 in fact. These 18 games are games that were only released in Europe or even in some cases, individual countries like France or Germany. With these "pure" exclusives, the European Dreamcast was also home to 5 games that only released in Japan and Europe.

The table below contains the list of all 18 PAL exclusives, sorted from oldest to newest release date.

The European Dreamcast also received an additional 5 sort of 'exclusive' games, these are games that came out in Japan as well but due to language barrier issues, the PAL version is the only viable option. Shenmue II is an excellent example of this, it is a story-rich game where knowing the language is important. The Japanese version is impossible for anyone who doesn't speak Japanese however the European edition is in English. The following list will be in the oldest-first order. For the dates, the first release date is chosen which usually is the Japanese release date.
