In contrast, the European launch lineup could be described as "in-between Japan and North America" as Sega offered European gamers a total of 13 games, with a notable lack of sports titles and especially of Soul Calibur which was praised at the time for its amazing graphics. Of course, the main game at the European launch, the must-have title was Sonic Adventure however, Virtua Fighter 3TB had some good success in Europe unlike in North America. Of course, third parties were also present at launch with the best offerings in my opinion being Blue Stinger, Toy Commander and Ready 2 Rumble Boxing. The complete European Dreamcast launch lineup is as follows:
| European Launch Game Lineup | |
|---|---|
| Blue Stinger | Dynamite Cop |
| Incoming | Millennium Soldiers Expendable |
| Monaco Grand Prix | Power Stone |
| Ready 2 Rumble Boxing | Sega Rally 2 |
| Sonic Adventure | Speed Devils |
| Toy Commander | TrickStyle |
| Virtua Figther 3TB | — |
